Tica: Reliable and Solid Reels Without Excessive Costs

History and Engineering Excellence of the Tica Brand

Founded in 1965 in Taiwan as Ever Rise Metal Engineering, the Tica company began its manufacturing history by producing high-precision mechanical components and premium fishing reels as an OEM manufacturer for the world's most famous tackle brands. Armed with decades of manufacturing and engineering expertise, the parent company launched its official brand in 1993: Tica (Evergreen Fishing Tackle). For over thirty years, Tica has established itself as a global benchmark for demanding anglers. The Tica brand is renowned for engineering rugged reels, incorporating proprietary patents for rotor waterproofing and smoothness, and delivering extraordinary resistance to saltwater corrosion, making every Tica reel a safe and long-lasting investment.

Over the years, Tica has created some of the most appreciated and sought-after icons across surfcasting, carp fishing, heavy spinning, jigging, and big-game trolling. Among the most popular Tica reels are the Tica Scepter GTB & Scepter GX, celebrated for their unmatched value, spool capacity, and cross-winding line lay. For baitcasting, the Tica Titan Claw / Titan Claw X-Treme TCX low-profile reels offer exceptional power for pike, catfish, and jigging. Offshore anglers rely on the legendary Tica Team TM & Oxean II lever drag trolling reels for ultimate big-game reliability, while the Tica Iron Claw & Tica Force Jig series target vertical jigging and slow pitch techniques.
